I have set up a YouTube channel called  reallyusefulmaths
Do go and have a look, subscribe and look at some of the channels we suggest. Only 14 videos up today.

Come and join our Diigo group for weblinks called "maths challenges"

All feedback welcome.

2nd Edition of Really Useful Maths book due out at the end of the year

Tony and Henry have decided to start this blog for the Second edition of the Really Useful Maths book.
We have edited the first proofs and are about to send material for the Companion Website to our publisher Routledge.

A few images to get you thinking.

How could you use these images in your teaching? Can your pupils make a story from any 4 of them or even better all of them. Find out about "6 degrees of separation", Fibonacci, Growth patterns, Islamic patterns...
I might add some captions. Have fun whilst we try to finish the book and Companion Website.
